A passion for inspiring students

“It is never too late to be what you might have been.” – Gorge Elliot

A commitment to student success.

Having been a student in the same seats of the students I now teach, I have experienced many of the same feelings as those in my charge.

Constant Innovation

While time is allotted for course and content development during a yearly development block, often I am incorporating new technology and techniques each semester.

Continual Development

Each year I am working on professional development through the Provincial Instructor Diploma Program, to ensure I’m maximizing potential as an educator to todays adult learners.

Industry Experience

I bring 20 years of experience in web that include Sys Admin, Database Admin,, Web Application Development, SaaS Development, Marketing, Project Management, and Business Management.

Connection

As a parent, and a community leader, I understand the importance of human connection.

Empathy

There is no one-size-fits-all solution to learning. We teach to the students we have, and not what someone has told us the “ideal” student is.

Transparency

I believe students should understand the path that they are on, where they are on the path, and what it will take to successfully complete their journey.

Projects in Motion

I’ve sponsored a couple of projects for the Computer Science capstone — those projects support the student experience through real-life systems development and implementation.

We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.
We are the change that we seek.”
